Sing
Saturday Choir & Band - The music at the Saturday Liturgies is upbeat in nature. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings after the 7:00 p.m. Liturgy, typically around 7:30 p.m.
8:30 Choir & Instrumentalists - Traditional in musical style, we sing at the 8:30 Sunday Liturgy. Rehearsals are weekly on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
11:00 Choir & Band - Singing a variety of musical styles, from traditional hymns to contemporary liturgical work, we sing at the 11:00 Sunday Liturgy. Rehearsals are weekly on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Cantors - Cantors are ministers who guide the congregation through their sung participation in liturgical celebrations. They are facilitators of sung prayer.
Psalmists - Psalmists are ministers to proclaim the Word of God in the form of the Responsorial Psalm.
Soloists - If you have special musical abilities and wish to share your gifts with the St. Matthew community, we would love to incorporate you into our music ministry.
Combined Adult Choirs - Our three adult choirs combine to sing for major Liturgies including Christmas, Holy Triduum, Confirmation and Pentecost. This allows us to present music that is fuller and more festive for these important Liturgies.
Children's Choirs - Children's Choirs are open to all children of the parish in grades 1-8. Children who attend a school other than St. Matthew are encouraged to participate. More Information>
