Consider the Men's Club
Are you a member of the St. Matthew Men’s Club? Considering the fact that our organization is inclusive of all adult male parishioners, if you meet those two criteria, the answer is yes! Our active members focus on serving others, fostering fellowship, and emulating Christ. We accomplish this by participating in monthly planning meetings (1st Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Cohan-Hansom Building), conducting fundraising activities for both Church and School, hosting Parish social events, and participating with numerous community ministries and outreach activities.
Take a moment to consider an event you attended at St. Matthew in the past couple of years. Did you think about one of the following: Parish Fish Fry, Easter Egg Hunt, Lion’s Pride Golf Tournament, Mike Hartz Memorial Golf Tournament, Parish Picnic, Feast Day, Oktoberfest, Breakfast with Santa, Angle Tree, Christmas decorations, Mane Event, Stations of the Cross, or one of the others not mentioned? These events and many more were hosted by, or supported by, our active members for the betterment of our Parish. When you are at your next Parish activity ask around andyou will see our organization hard at work serving others, fostering fellowship, and emulating Christ.
We invite each of you to attend our next meeting and you will discover the many ways to become more involved in Parish life.
Establish a faith based community environment focusing on improving our relationship with God by serving others, fostering fellowship, and emulating Christ.

Men's Club Prayer:
We thank you for the gift of our families for whom we now pray and upon whom we now ask you to shower your blessings. With St. Joseph as our guide, may we always be ready to spend our lives for them. Guide us to be the best sons, brothers, uncles, fathers, and grandfathers, as well as witnesses for you in our daily lives and through our service in the Men’s Club.
Bless our activities and our meeting; give us the wisdom to optimize our efforts in order to serve our parish, diocese, and community. Watch over us so that in the strength of your love we may enjoy prosperity, possess the gift of your peace, keep the Church alive in our lives, and always bear witness to your glory in the world.
In Christ’s name we pray;
