Alcoholics Anonymous

aaAlcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem. Meetings are at 8 p.m. in the Cohan Hansom building. All are welcome. You do not need to be a member of Saint Matthew to attend.

Stephen Ministry

stephen ministryStephen Ministers provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals struggling with a life crisis such as grief, divorce, loneliness, terminal illness or unemployment. Helping Hands

This group prepares meals for parishioners who are in need, this would include families with someone who is ill and new mothers.  Volunteers are needed to prepare and deliver meals. Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

This ministry is designed for mothers from birth to Kindergarten. This ministry meets every other Thursday. At their meetings they have great speakers, food, small group discussion, faith sharing, and friendship. Amy Phillips & Rachel Jansen, stmatthewmops@gmail.com

Nursing Home Ministry

This ministry visits those living in nursing homes and brings Communion when requested. Volunteers are needed to visit and pray with the elderly. Mary Ann Dunn, 615-550-5101, madunn@stmatthewtn.org

Healing Prayer Ministry

This prayer team is available to pray with anyone needing physical, spiritual or emotional healing.  Healing prayer is offered in the church library the first Wednesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. by appointment only. Mary Ann Dunn, 615-550-5101 madunn@stmatthewtn.org

Grief Share
